About Us

I started Rachel Rose in 2016 from my parents dining room table in my senior year of high school. Founded on the idea of individuality, quality and creativity, I wanted to create a brand that gave people a place to express themselves. I am a self-taught fashion designer, and hand-make all of my products. Sourcing all of my materials locally, I have ensured from the start that my products are sustainably and ethically made. Not marrying myself to one type of product, I have explored and experimented with various types of fashion garments and accessories. 

With the onset of COVID-19, I decided to pivot my business - I began making fashionable masks. Little did I know that this would make me go from casually making custom products here and there for customer to making an endless number of masks on a weekly basis. This led to me fully committing to my business and taking over my parents dining room full-time. 

Now, over a year later, I am in my own place with a separate studio for my business. I have expanded beyond masks, and now sell scrunchies, tote bags, purses and hair claws. I also now have numerous retailers local to Toronto and outside of Canada. I still hand-make all of my products myself and have never been more happy or proud in my business, and I'm so glad you have found Rachel Rose and joined me on this journey!
